Uncorked Films specialises in wedding videography in British Columbia and Alberta. For the rebrand, owner Deanna and I thought really hard about how we wanted the branding to feel.
We didn’t want the branding to look too ‘wedding’ but on the other hand, it needed to attract couples looking to book the service for their big day. I took a lot of colour inspiration from Deanna’s previous wedding footage and paired that with a really feminine font and intricate hand-drawn illustrations of the grape vines that adorn the beautiful Kelowna landscape where she’s based.

The mood of this rebrand is rich, natural and emotive. From the soft blues and greens to the array of natural earthy browns, it’s a very grounding and inviting vibe. When you think of weddings you think of personal touches, small details and a lot of love.
I hand drew some grape vines because Uncoorked Films is based in Kelowna, BC which is well-known for its vineyards. It adds a really subtle delicate detail.
Website Design
With the Uncorked Website, we really wanted to improve the information and visual content compared to the existing site. I worked closely with Deanna to re-write all the copy on every page, ensuring the brand voice stayed consistent and it was delivering value to prospective clients. We made a point to showcase 6 stunning weddings with images, highlight videos, wedding details, and testimonials to really tell a love story. The customer journey through this site is very much improved and Deanna is fully booked for the next year, I’m so happy with this project!
