BRANDING
Working with Jenna and Joell was such a treat for me! We had crossed paths before when we both worked with a different client, myself on the clients marketing and they on their merchandising.
The sisters had a really strong idea of what they wanted in a rebrand. They work primarily with female-owned retailers to merchandise shop floors and windows, so their branding had to appeal to those types of clients. We wanted to go with something a little more elevated than neutral, which is why we ended up going for the brownish reds and creams.
This branding concept is versatile and inspirational. The soft colours, neutral tones and feminine accents lends itself to being able to attract a different variety of clients.
When thinking about a secondary logo icon, we discussed having a shop window, a pair of eyes, etc, something to do with merchandising. In the end, I chose to draw a hand sprinkling merchandising magic on all the retailers they work with.
